1. What’s your website address?

This is your domain name — the thing you type into the browser. For example:

If you’re not sure, try Googling your business name and see what pops up.

2. Where is your domain registered?

Your domain is like the land title for your website. It might be with companies like:

  • GoDaddy
  • Namecheap
  • Netregistry
  • Crazy Domains

Clues to find it:

  • Emails with “domain renewal” or “registration”
  • Old invoices with a domain name on them
  • Bookmarks or saved logins with names like “GoDaddy”

3. Who is your current hosting provider?

Hosting is where your actual website lives (like the house on the land). It could be with:

  • SiteGround
  • VentraIP
  • Crazy Domains
  • Bluehost
  • Digital Pacific

Hosting emails often mention things like:

  • cPanel / Plesk
  • “Your hosting plan is due”
  • Login details for managing your website

If you’ve ever logged into something with a URL like yourdomain.com/cpanel, that’s probably it.

4. What logins do you have?
